The Car Craft Cobra 200 1993 Mustang, driven by Car Craft editor John Baechtel ran 201.9 mph using all factory parts and a Vortech supercharger. This car featured a Ken Duttweiler built 302 small block Ford that delivered 740 horsepower. Later, the car ran a 12.19 quarter mile at 126.79 mph with the same 2.73 rear gearing and it negotiated the Motor Trend 600 foot slalom faster than a Corvette at 72 mph.
